Set Smartphone Limits For Yourself & Your Loved Ones.
If you have a habit of looking at your phone every five minutes, you should seriously consider giving it up, at least during summer vacation. The same applies to your loved ones, too. Spending hours on your smartphone certainly defeats the whole purpose of "vacation".
Why would you want to spend your hard-earned cash just so you can remain looking at your mobile screen, even when you are surrounded by the
healing essence of Mother Nature? For this reason, it is essential that you take steps to reduce smartphone use during vacation.
One easy way would be to keep all phones silenced for a certain duration during each day. You can agree upon this with your family and loved ones ahead of time to avoid conflicts.
Create Long-Lasting Memories.
The ultimate aim of any vacation, including the summer vacation, is to create memories that will (hopefully) last a lifetime. In fact, the memories should be so vivid that when you walk down the memory lane, you should be able to smile and enjoy the nostalgia along the way. Recall the sights, sounds, and smells.
Remember, it’s not always the most thrilling activities that create a lasting memory. You can do simple activities that you all enjoy. Just make sure that these activities can be done only during vacation, and not at home.
